DISCOVER Surf is a program consciously created for youth girls,12-18 years old, living in marginalized communities. Coming alongside community leaders, we have developed this very special opportunity for these young girls to begin identifying their gifts!
DISCOVER Surf is a hands-on experience inviting these girls to try something new and fun AND explore this idea of vulnerability together. Each girl will a receive a 1:1 surf lesson and engage in group activities that incorporate a foundation of mental health as they begin identifying their own gift.
A GIFT IS MORE THAN YOUR STRENGTHS OR WHAT YOU’RE GOOD AT. YOUR GIFT IS A COMBINATION OF ALL YOUR STRENGTHS & STRUGGLES. THE GIVING GIFTS IS SHIFTING THE CONVERSATION AROUND STRUGGLING FROM SHAME TO POSSIBILITy and what better place to do that than at the ocean?!
