Sometimes, the most meaningful parts of our story are the ones we overlook. The struggles we’ve faced, the challenges we’ve navigated, the moments that felt small or insignificant, all of these shape who we are. And when we make space for every part of our story, we recognize the that our gift, what we bring to this world, is not just our strengths, but also those little pieces that feel a little more complicated.

For the month of March, our focus centers on creating space: the idea that everyone brings something important to the table. Just like every small piece of trash we remove from the beach makes an impact, every piece of our story matters. Our activity this month reflects this: we’re taking something discarded, bottle caps, and transforming them into something new, a simple yet powerful reminder that even the smallest pieces have purpose.

Something I really love about this months reflection and activity is that you can participate from anywhere. We have two cleanups and two workshops in march in which I will be sharing this activity and reflection AND I hope you will join me wherever you are!

I know that, especially for adults, a craft or guided reflection can sometimes feel silly, so I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace it. Sometimes, a little creativity is exactly what we need to see things in a new way!
