FORMING WAVES
The Giving Gifts operational fund is what makes everything a possibility. Covering the entire cost of running the organization, development, Podcast creation, the website, emails, Leader resources, discovery resources, and a lot more…oh and it also keeps me living which I am very thankful for!
up until now, I have been encouraging regular monthly giving, which has its pros and cons for sure. I am seriously unbelievably thankful for the monthly gifts and the one-off gifts that have made this year what it has been. Here is just a look at where we are at…
Goal: $2400/Month - Current monthly: $360/Month
As we enter into the last part of this year I am inviting you into what I believe is needed to continue the impact and build the foundation for sustainable change.
CAN WE TOGETHER BRING IN $12,000?! I THINK WE CAN!
CREATING IMPACT
The Giving Gifts impact is happening every day in clearly visible and in more discrete ways as well.
Through the podcast, Discover programs, and leader connection resources we have seen and will continue to see a lot of learning and a lot of ongoing impacts. The impact can be seen through The Growth Team and The Global team. Impact can be felt in my own life and through these updates.
The Giving Gifts has been a resource for over 2200 people in 2022 so far…
I am SO eager to share some of the really amazing opportunities for the impact this fall. Currently, I am working super closely with an incredible group of individuals here in Ensenada for some opportunities to grow the Discover & Explore programs right here in Mexico!
SUSTAINING CHANGE
This really is one of the most unique aspects of The Giving Gifts because not only will it make operations and impact more sustainable it is also an opportunity to allow individuals to use their own gifts to be part of ongoing impact in our world!
The Social Impact Businesses that are launching this year, Creative Tides & Shellebrate, are designed in a way that connects the very best of the nonprofit and for-profit world. Through this Social Impact Business model we are looking at replacing 30-60% of the operational cost of The Giving Gifts, creating more opportunities for new impact and sustaining current impact.
The Giving Gifts has also been leaning into the learning process of working with other businesses as well to discover what works and doesn’t work with this model. Zar Surf is such an incredible example of this. From the beginning of Zar Surf I have paced closely with Alyssa Zarraonandia to explore how having a social impact model does not create less of a profit for your business, in fact it creates a marketing strategy that invites consumers into the consideration that there are products with important purposes!
